Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace

An amazingly accurate open for the British series "Darkplace," a show that lampooned 1980s' television drama, particularly horror and sci-fi.

    Excellent show.

My girlf has seen the guy who play Marenghi running for a train, and apparently he really runs like that!

This is a brilliant opening for a hilarious show

Truly genius, couldn’t fit the concept of the shot better :)

Love this so much, the opening always gets me grinning before the shows even started. Another great TV show gone too soon.

Aside from the fact that I am a devout fan of this six-episode series, what I appreciate is the thought given to the typeface relative to the genre/aesthetic. The story is explained through the scenes without much disruption from the text itself. Additionally, the text is applied in the manner of an authentic retro 80′s TV show.
