Wonderful, energetic work, though i feel the title sequences to Genndy Tartakovsky’s toons have a greater synergy between hand made and digital graphics – especially in his iconic production of Samurai Jack – but not forgetting the madness and mayhem of sugar induced spasms of activity evident in his openings for Dexter’s Lab and Powerpuff Girls.

Love to see a feature on his work . . .

To answer Mase’s question, it was created with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. The character animation was mainly traditional animation (on paper). The steam, lights and smoke effects are real footage.

WOW! Fascinating to see the animatics & colour boards. I’m really interested to know how do they from those initial drawings to the final animation? What technology / software is used?

This is fantastic! A very cool sequence. I loved the 50s sci-fi feel to it… brilliantly executed.
