Obsession. Jamie Caliri is so talented, it blows me away.
loved the movie…amazing work…mind blowing!!
It was love at first sight. I’ll never forget the first time watching “a series of unfortunate events”. Absolutely brilliant. I love love love the illustration, the mystery, the mood created in the illustration is breathe taking!! i applauded you ALL.
INCREDIBLE! i really love the movie!! and the amazing titles, Jamie you’re a genius men!
This is my favorite credits build ever – even more so than Ratatouille which I love.
I wished they had made more of the series… even if it was just to see more credits like it.
I have to agree with everyone, this was love at first sight when I saw it. We had to purchase the DVD just to watch it again and again. As much as I love the movie, the credits actually surpassed it. I was SOOOO glad they were featured on the discs menus as well. It made it that much better. The textures and lighting…wow…
This is a masterpiece! the colours, the movements, the retro baroque dark style. I love this one. Cool & creepy at the same time!
WOW!!! I was so blown away and inspired by this incredible example of moving art. A masterpiece!!
“The Mysterious Geographic Explorations of Jasper Morello” is an animated short that reminds me so much of this title sequence.
This is better than the whole rest of the movie. It blew me away when I first saw it. If you want more work like this from him, try looking at the “Dragon” advertisement for United Airlines, and there’s a nice making of of that one too.
I’d forgotten how cool this one is! Love the music and the way some of the spinning shapes have a slight transparent quality to them.
i’m green with envy at just how good this is, the illustrations are amazing, the pace is spot on.. 100% genius..
yeah, truly a work of art with such detail.
very nice.
Truly amazing. It surprised me completely at the end of the movie. It’s like a short little movie, and it’s more than just an “end title” to the movie. I must admit that it’s even better than my old time favorite “Catch me if you can!” – yes, yes it’s a different art direction, but “A series of unfortunate events” has better imagination.
It’s genius! If they make an animation movie with the same style for ASOUE, that will be great!
Jamie is not only amazingly talented, he’s a great human being. He will be presenting an intensive session at motion09 (motionconference.com) October 11-14. If you like this, you’ll like United States of Tara titles.
THE best credit sequence. Ever. Bar none. This movie is also one of the best adaptations of a family-friendly book ever (sorry, I hate using the phrase “kids’ novel” because everybody misinterprets it to mean that only kids can enjoy it).
