I hated these titles, from the moment I saw them at the cinema I remember vividly thinking that these are not the titles to a hollywood sequel, more like a tv series.

The titles themselves are fine, just the voice over by Snipes is lame.

  2. MIchael says:

I thought the in-camera mirror effect on the footage was beautiful. At the time I hadn’t seen that before.

  3. Dan says:

You’re right Russ, very TV show with the voice over.

  4. William says:

You guys really missed the point here. It’s not emulating a TV show, but Marvel Comics exposition. The vibe here is totally “See Issue #18″ with the overly-serious narration and on-screen comic book panels.

A gorgeous, ridiculous, wonderful title sequence, well in keeping with the over-the-top Marvel horror superhero comic book look of the film.

  5. I had to see what the fuss was about. Yes, that VO emulated a comics’ narrator so well I could hear the words in bold and see the shape of the caption boxes. I guess it was risky for non-comic readers, but kinda fun.
